Well yesterday I changed the sparks, removed the exhaust and downpipes so I could drop the sump. Removed a bastard sheared bolt that snapped when I put my belly pan on. Resealed and attached the sump, waiting to see if any oil leaks now.

Fitted a waterproof phone case to my YBR Thumbs Up

However the only place I reckon it'd fit and be hidden from the wind by something means it fouls the tank. Bastard Thumbs Down

Ahh, then suddenly it makes sense!

Get on with it - it's lulz.

Also somewhat interested in your car now Thinking

I will do, just cos its only got 160 miles on it I didnt want to rape the engine since its still kinda running in.

Car is a 1994 Toyota MR2 turbo sitting around the 300bhp mark at 21psi of boost. Had it 2 up at GPS verified 164mph but shat out of it at that point Very Happy

Swing arm had not been looked after by previous owners. It has dried out a lot smoother than it looks.
This will need to do until later this year.
Then I will take it off and get the thing stripped and repainted by bro in law.
It's mostly hidden by hugger and tyre anyways.

Cleaned the chain up, should get a couple of months out of it until i'm arsed to put the new chain kit on.

'Cleaned' the bike with a piece of wet kitchen towel.

Got a new MOT, no advisories.

Went on a 2 hour ride for the first time in months. Was even dry weather!https://mackenan.chesterbrookacademy.com/uploaded/chesterbrook/Pre_School/school_650/Photos/success_meme.jpg

Took the Forks off to send away for rechroming. been trying to find a replacement set but no joy, plus chromers seem confident they can fix them, no charge if not so it seemed worth a shot.

https://i1263.photobucket.com/albums/ii639/bravocharlie1/null_zps3dd1eb80.jpg

took the tank off to check the fuel had no water in it as it ran a bit strange, suspected carbs issue.

still got brake pads and rear bearings to do before it's MOT, but the forks are looking to take 5 weeks... Sad

I appreciate your desire to be visible, but I very much doubt a few extra inches of white will make all the difference for the people who fail to look properly, if at all. I've recently switched from a white bike to a black one and have not noticed any further decline in some people's awareness of me.

Glad your not to bothered about my view, heck, i'm sure much of the stuff i've done to my bike looks displeasing from others perspectives, its just like a parents view of their ugly baby isn't it.....blind to the hideousness of the monster because its theirs, and ultimately, it matters not.
I just figured you'd posted a picture for opinions....
I would agree that it looks less gash than a display of crinkleyness, or a spade on the fork leg, just not by much from my perspective, hence my suggested alternative.

Hey - thought I'd replied but it probably disappeared into the ether.

This was pretty much the result with the sticky on plate. Its not made of the same thin vinyl stuff you usually can mould with heat (which I used on the white wrap on the screen).

https://homepage.ntlworld.com/y.a.k.a/varadero/IMG_1911.JPG

And on the bike and not from the angle I posted the first pic from it doesnt look that big or bad plus blends quite nicely with the body colour and red parts of the Honda graphics pack.

Took the bike out again for another ride. Used the last of the fuel thats been sat in there a while so will be runnin' fresh next outing.

Did an oil and filter change.

Blew an indicator bulb.

Rounded off a fairing bolt.

Relatively successful day.

New tyre fitted to YBR , Michelin Pilot Street.£44.80 delivered and £10 fitted to loose wheel.
Hope to get more than the 4,000 miles the Sporty gave me.
Cleaned all the underside and gave it a fresh coat of ACF50.
Fitted the wheel and adjusted the chain. Only to find that the brake was jamming on AARRRRGGGGGHHHHH Rolling Eyes
Wheel back off. Out with the pads. Remover the linkage that is arrowed and hammer out the pin that moves the pads as it was sticking.
Quick clean and coat of copper grease.
All fitted and working as it should.
Worthwhile doing if you have the rear wheel off.. Thumbs Up
