I did my cbt a year ago in april, and it was raining. So, when I went out on my NSR I rode in all weathers. Up until the summer, loads of sun, if it was raining, "nah, go out tomorrow". Well now we're in winter again, and my baby has just been tucked up for like, weeks.

So, I think to myself, "aah, sod it, I used to ride all weathers, so i will again!"

And I thank god I did go out, I have had some of the best riding for ages over the past few days. It can be a bit hairy sometimes out there, like going round a wet roundabout and skidding the rear round as you leave the roundabout, (although I loved it!)

So this is a lesson for all, don't be a fairweather bunny, you can have a lot of fun in the rain!

Yeah..I know that all too well Thumbs Up

I used to ride in TORRENTIAL rain....BAD wind....anything..passed my test..
Shocked
nothing.
Sat at home.
The chase had gone...so to speak.

I have not been on my bike for a while due to the weather and it being Christmas and all...very busy...
anyways...
today (funnily enough) I though "bike day today..sunny..yes..go for it..maybe I have forgotten how to ride".... (no funny jokes there boys!!)... Rolling Eyes

So, I rode off...it was slippy as hell out there today..and wind !... Mad grr at Mother Nature.

I too was hesitant on roundabouts...the odd slip, but it was FUN.
You forget how good it is to be out there dodging the dick head cagers and the birds dive-bombing you !! Mr. Green

I am going to be on the bike more often now Xmas is out of the way...

Most people who ride in the rain and shit weather are riding because they need to, like to get to work, rather than because they want to ride.

I'll ride in any weather in which I believe I'll stay dry. If I don't have the adequate equipment, I won't go out.

My "waterproof" jacket talks pants. The zip part let me down big time, as I found to my disadvantage. I'll still go out when its raining, but not in sleet, which was when I found out how good it didn't perform Sad
