Moped shows, E.G. Shows set for Mopeds, like Maxpower

Does anyone know of any Moped shows? For Example Maxpower shows where people go woth their cars and show them off, but in that case for mopeds, not really big bikes because mine would be crap compared to them lol, but does anyone know of any?

On a more serious suggestion, just take your poed to max power type cruises, peds are known as being the only thing a boi racer can get at 16.

actually, i come from london i live in Hertfordshire now, and i do not live in a council estate my house was valued at £250 000, so you can take that remark back.

All the big bike shows have scooter manufacturers/models on show and also the section where you can try them. They may sell part's (next nearest show is Ally Pally Superbike show) but doubt they have scooter part's. Just ask some of the trader's there as they most likely stock part's or know of someone who does for scooter's (including tune-up bits).

Pick up a copy of Twist 'n' go and have a look at the adverts in the back/throughout as well. They will display any shows that cater for scooter's. Though most will be small and in the summer, and for Lambretta's etc...

I have never bought a copy of twist n go and am one of the highest posters on the board. go figure...

I dont perticurly like twistngo board now...they all hate me now as I have a real bike...

Were you actually asking about shows as Reuben describes? If so, you are incredibly unlikely to get your bike featured there (at the Ally Pally at least). If you are you would have to have it delivered there ahead of time and leave it there for two weeks.

First of all, from what I was aware; the Maxpower 'shows', are infact just groups of people in a McDonalds or similar car park, maxpower finds out about them and takes pictures. Presuming you're talking about ones where you can 'show' your own vehicle here.

Plenty of people use bike meets to 'show off' their bikes as such, though maybe in not quite such a, errr, 'poncey' way.


If I showed you a bright pink bike that I said was mine, would you tell me it was great, or take the piss? Personally, I associate neons will people, that at the very least waste their money and want some kind of 'penis extension' to make up for the fact they don't actually enjoy their vehicle for what it is.
