Hello,

I am after a new leather jacket possibly a 2 piece eventually money permitting. I prefer black ones. I really liked the old RST stunt and slice ones but I can't find any good deals anymore on them.

I am trying to look under £200 and it has to look awesome. Any suggestions welcome Smile

RST Gear is usually pretty good for the price.

'Looking awesome' is rather in the eye of the beholder though!

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/1016

I'd just have a look on ebay at new jackets between £150 and £250, and see if anything takes your fancy.

Yeah I normally buy from sports bike shop but they have taken down all the old RST gear as its last years and they have the 2014 range which i dont think is as good.

Ha yeah looking awesome is but I would like everyone's opinions after all people are going to see it more than me.

Have a look at RICHA ROTAR. I am thinking of getting this jacket.

Looks really nice (my opinion ofc).

£159 from sportsbikeshop I believe and currently under offer for £110 somewhere else cant remember exactly.

If someone has used this jacket before I would like your opinions on it.

I quite like the RST Blade jacket.

Simple design, good armour and removable lining. You can also get trousers to match. I don't really like overly 'look at me' kit though.

RICHA ROTAR one looks good. Does it have matching trousers? Shame they only have one size on the website does anyone have any good online shops or shops around the berkshire area that i could pop into and try some on?

https://www.topgearsuperstore.com/mega-clearance-sale/motorbike-leathers/richa-rotar-leather-motorcycle-jacket.html ( I have never used this site/business before)

^ have more sizes and cheaper than sportsbikeshop.

On the same site I mentioned above, there are trousers with similar styling from RICHA if you want to have a look.

I've got a Hein Gericke Tripmaster for summer use that I bought used off ebay.
Obviously it's going to be difficult finding a new one now that HG have gone bust in the UK, but if one pops up on ebay in reasonable condition it might be worth a look. I've no complaints about mine, and the trousers and jacket cost me £115. Very Happy

Anything RST. I have the RST razor leather jacket comfy and close fitting and keeps you reasonably warm during the cold nights. Got mine for £140, comes with removable body warmer on the inside and can buy leather pants to match.

Neutral The opening post does mention them, and the fact that he can't find any under £200. Maybe you can tell us where you got yours and he can check that retailer out?

Not to everyone's taste and it might only be found on ebay now but I would seriously recommend the Akito T Force jacket. I've worn mine through extremely heavy rain and still stay bone dry. Even wore it through the winter that we have just had and still stayed bone dry.

If im perfectly honest, I have always liked RST gear. Is anyone from Berkshire area and knows a good shop that stocks lots of gear to try on? Then can always find online if needed?

Thanks

Got to be worth a punt at that price. I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be 'x men' if they hadn't put it in the ad and it seems to tick most of the boxes.

Even if it turns out to be pants, you'll probably be able to sell it on for more to some ebay mug.

Hi there,

You're in luck. I'm a manufacturer and seller of leather products. I understand you're having trouble finding something in your price range. Let me know EXACTLY what you want for a certain price and I'll make it happen for you.

Cheers

I have always liked the stunt rst jackets:

but unable to find a decent price range or stock with the right sizes. Trousers to match..

Thanks for the response.

I invite you to go to my site and see if there is something you like which is similar.

Whether or not you find something, let me know. Also give me your measurements to not only get the correct size but also get the perfect fit for you.

Lets make you a custom jacket.

If you find something you like on Leatherhere, I'll get you that. If you don't, then I can make the same thing you showed me on eBay. And I'll be able to make that eBay jacket for around 110 GBP.

Does that help?

I have a brand new alpinestars avant leather jacket I paid £350 then £30 for some bionic back protector thingy. Literally not even used it once due to weather and could do with the money. What size are you? Very Happy

The only bike gear place I know of in Berkshire itself is pro-bike in Newbury. Its a nice shop, but quite a limited selection

I'm thinking about hitting the 3 main bike shops that I know of this weekend if the weathers good this weekend - onyerbike in aylesbury, jsaccessories in oxford and megamotorcyclestore.co.uk in Swindon. Not Berkshire, but not a million miles away either, and its about 50 miles of A road riding to hit all 3 from the first one - Google mpas
