thats the link. not too keen on the colour but its supposedly cheaper to maintain than an rs125. i am a poor student!!!!

i may buy this bike but am not sure if the dent is going to be a problem later on in its life? (his explanation for selling may be dodgy) from reading the details how much do you think i should bid max? or do you think its not worth buying?

Dents and such aren't really problems, you should expect a learner bike to have been dropped at least once in it's life.

Best thing is to go and see it in the flesh.

Hi MinhDinh

I had a good experience buying a 125 bike off ebay but then again I looked up the sellers feedback rating and comments of people who bought stuff off him, phoned him and asked questions to get a feel of what sort of person he was and if the bike was in good nick. I got a 2004 Comet Hyosung 125 for the same price... but the transport co. I used was diabolical - took 3 weeks!.

If you're interested in buying it, go and look at it.

Hie explanation for selling of "I have now passed my driving test so time for something diffrent" seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Dents and scratches aren't a problem, you'll be hard pushed to find a 125 without them.

I /think/ that they're offically due a service at 3,000 miles so I'd find out if that's been done or not.

If I was buying that bike I'd collected it myself to check it and all it's paperwork rather than handing over all the money and paying £120 for delivery, they have 0 feedback so I wouldn't trust them that much. When you go and pick it up yourelf if it doesn't match what has been described then you're quite entitled legally to walk away without paying.

Price? I Not sure off the top of my head, but I'd have a browse around Bike Trader to see what else you can get for your money, that one if quite good as it comes with cover, chain, disc lock, spare exhaust and fairing, and don't forget the "general bits and bobs" whatever they might be. E-mail the seller to clarify exactly what they mean by that, probably means a bottle of two stroke oil and the underseat tool kit but that's just a guess. The helmet isn't much use really as you have no idea of it's history, gloves and jacket will be useful if they fit you. Have a look around and see what else you can get for what money and base your decision on that.

okay i can't really travel far to check out motors so i will have to leave this one out. most people on the site are suggesting i should check the bike out first so i guess the loot or autotrader will be my best bet. even though i will struggle to remember what exactly to check for, its better than nothing. thanks again guys

In the thread I linked to in your thread about what to check NSR125-Kid-UK has posted a Word document you can print out of stuff to check over on a bike.
