The rubber swingarm slider has come off my CBR (it was all fucked when I got it). Any way to replace while I wait for a new one to arrive? Wad of gaffer tape?

I'd gaffa it but keep your eye on it, you dont want pieces of it ripping off and staying your chain to increase wear

Wad of tape could end very bad if it gets jammed between chain and sprocket, potential for the chain to come off.

Shirley if the tape was faped around the swingarm, the likelihood of it coming off with the chain would be very slim, providing a few things like the chain couldnt snag at the interface of tape to swingarm, so overlap some to make sure it cant etc ?

It's gaffa tape, it'll shred at first contact with the chain, it probably wont jam between the chain and sprocket, but... sticky fabric near your chain does pose a risk.

Laughing Don't gaffa tape it. Go to your local honda dealership and they will order you one in.

Other than that, just buy a nylon vegetable chopping board and cut it to shape.

Not a bad idea...
