I got caught at 87 in a 50 and recieved 6 points and a £400 fine plus costs.

Speeding by a similar amount but obviously there's the lack of licence and insurance to take in to account too.

All depends on the circumstances, what he says in court etc. BUT - looking at the guidelines :

he's probably looking at a ban of around 3 months and a band C fine, which is around 150% of his weekly income. That would come down to 100% if he pleads guilty at the first opportunity. He would then have to pay costs (usually £85 if he pleads guilty) and a "victim surcharge" which is £20 or more, depending on the size of the fine.

If there's any suggestion that he's done it before, anyone was injured or other aggravating factors, that could go up quite a bit.

No insurance due to the above.

Speeding 137+mph in a 70 zone.

List of previous other offences including a ban and still within first 2 years of license.

54 day ban and £400 fine + £65 costs if my memory serves me correctly.
