I got a 600 Bandit today, pretty good condition just a few electrical issues to sort out and fork seals need to be replaced, and rear tyre looks like it needs a change too. Other than that it's fine engine and look wise.
I'll have to post a video of it sometime sounds quite nice with the viper exhaust system on it.

Anyway my CBF 125 if fuel injected so obviously no need to mess around with carbs, fuel tap or a choke. My dad has a CX500 so I understand the way the fuel tap works however the Bandit has a prime position. What is the prime position for and when do I need to use it?

When you drain the carbs you will need to use the prime to refill them due to it having a vacuum fuel tap.
