Gonna be a beautiful day down here in the South East - I expect to hear bikes tearing about on half-inflated tyres and squeaky brakes all day!

So, who is out in the warm March sun? Not me I'm afraid, was out on my turbo bike all day yesterday but today I'm servicing the Bandit.

I'm gutted, still not managed to sort the brakes out on my bandit yet and won't be until tue at the earliest, just hoping my new air filter turns up by then as well, be handy to get all the odd jobs tidied up in one.

Nope having a relaxing day to watch the rugby instead, haven't really found that much enjoyment of riding recently. An no that isn't because of the weather.

I had the very first joy ride of the year yesterday. Been going to work on the bike since November but yesterday was the first ride I properly enjoyed. Warm, dry, lovely Sunday afternoon hazy light. Pity all I had was a 125 Laughing

Only 10 degrees here too. Not that I'd be really bothered by that. Tbh a good day for riding over here, is any day it's not raining or blowing a gale. (or I'm not hungover)

Gave the duc a mild spanking earlier on and marvelled at the number of indicators left on.
Also resisted the urge to shout 'Wild Hogs!' when I pulled into the C&F.

Beautiful day. Dance!

My Street Triple MOT ran out yesterday. Sad

I was working on another one of my bikes yesterday trying to get it ready for next weekend but I found half the parts I bought don't fit and I need some new spacers making up for various bits of it. I wasn't planning to MOT the street because I needed to work on the other bike but it turns out I had plenty of time and could have done it. Jeez.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Took my bike for it's MOT yesterday and it failed on a few bits so I left it there to be fixed. Just my luck as it probably won't be this hot again until August.
Going out for a carvery in a bit and gonna take the pushbike, a nice 20 mile round trip in the sun Cool

Cleaned the infamous tokicos after a wet salty winter, and a general de-winterise.

New rubber next Friday, then the fun begins

You should have let us know, we would have come up as we're only down the road in Buxton now. As it happens Sid's cleaning his bike instead of riding it today.. I KNOW! First clean in 11 months. Wonder if I can persuade him to do the car........ Thinking
