XR copy, pile of $hit, someone on here had one that fell apart... or maybe still does (have a bolt left). For that money he can get something Japanese, that will definitely do the 4000 miles and last 6 months ____________________ Yamaha MT-03 '08 (crashed)

Why doesn't he buy a real XR? They often fall within his budget, if he wants a project he can buy mine ____________________ Yamaha MT-03 '08 (crashed)

I doubt he'll get anything Japanese branded with T&T for under £500.
I'm OK with Chinese bikes, I'm even semi-seriously thinking of taking on another, but the trail/enduro/SM ones seem to be the ropiest of the bunch.
Add in that (IMHO) they're also more likely to be owned by Daryyyls, abused and neglected, and I would not want to rely on one as a sole means of transport.
The exception might be the Sinnis Apache, and perhaps the Pulse Adrenaline and variants (see spicy110 on youtube), but a TMEC is neither.
cmpo.co.uk don't list parts for it, which would put me off right away. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Apparently genuine XR parts fit, not so sure myself as they're differences such as the rear brake. ____________________ Yamaha MT-03 '08 (crashed)
