I'm from Perivale/Greenford, about 5-10 mins from the Ace Cafe. Unfortunately I'm the only one out of my friends to ride so i'd like to hook up with people sometimes to cover some miles on the bike Surprised

Nice looking bike. I ride through greenford every day on my way to oppressing Her Majesty's Unwanted Guests in West Drayton, although I pass through the Hayes end rather than perivale.

I'll keep an eye out for you, watch out for a silver Fazer '04 model with a big ugly lump on it!

Nice looking bike, welcome to the site, and to the bike bug!

Morning. Thumbs Up

Do you go to Boxhill which is at J9 on the M25? Keep an eye on the South East usergroup and the outings & excursions forum for things happening, everything kinda died down with winter at the moment though.

Over quite near to Farnborough here, village called Hartley Wintney.

I live just down the road from you, I'm over in Northolt Smile I'm only on a 125 at the mo but should be changing up to a 650 in a few months when I get my test done. I've got 2 other biker friends one on a 650 the other on an NSR.

You know Harrow well? You poor sod, it's a total dump. I live on a private road just off the town centre, but I spend as little time as possible in Harrow itself. Can't wait to move out of london.

I did my DAS through the guys at Colin Collins, so did the test at Pinner. Some nice roads to pootle around on, especially further out towards St Albans and that general direction.

Yeah I'll be moving up to a SV650 K4 (I think), my mate just down the road got one and to me looks like a really good first big bike Smile

I'm thinking of doing it at Passmasters because there more or less just round the corner from me, have you got any contact numbers for them? I'm also looking at Colin Colins too, well they should pass me because thats where I'll be getting my bike from and I've spent nearly £450 there in the past three weeks Shocked

project... https://www.passmasters.co.uk/frameset.htm Thats the website address for them, its got all the price lists u'll need. Good training there. I recommend doing your test at pinner, its a doddle round there!

Mister... Harrow isnt that bad, as Ric says. I did my test at Pinner as well... It is fairly straight forward round there, not much you can get wrong.

Ric, will do mate... Are you about most of the time, like me a lazy student, or are you working full time etc?

I ride through Northolt every day to get to work, I'll concede it's not a great place, but at least it doesn't pretend to be posh! Harrow is supposed to be one of the richest areas in london, but is actually full of pikies, chavs and immigrants, just with sky-high housing prices!

I wasn't suggesting that Pinner was a hard test centre, it's pretty sweet, I was only out for 20 mins on the road for a start!

Hey CWFan, I live in Edgware, got to college in Harrow and ride out usually with the Herts lot, but it sucks cos i've been riding for over a year and have yet to attempt my bike test due to the pressures of exams, coursework and revision. It'll be nice to meet up with you at the Ace or something.
