 |

Despite what many of you on here say, I've had my CBF 125 for 15 months now and it's been perfect for what I need. It's a reliable commuter bike for me and it's VERY cheap to run.
That said, I've been toying with the idea of having a sportier bike to use when the weather is nice or on the odd weekend. I'm not bothered about the top speed, just want something that's fun.
I'll be keeping my CBF as my year round commuter so this bike would be an addition.
Is there such a thing though? I like the look of the Yamaha TZR125 and the Honda NSR125. Are these bikes any good?
Bear in mind that I have an A1 license at present so can't go higher than a 125. Not looking at spending any more than £1,500 either. So just putting this out there to see if A) the two bikes I have mentioned are any good? or B) are there any others that may fit the bill?.
Of course, I'm expecting the odd "Fuck off and do your DAS!" too ____________________ Current: Honda 2015 MSX125.

If I had to get a 125, sports bike I would get an nsr, great little bikes
Although I'd probably get some sort of supermoto and go Greenlaneing, more fun things you can do with a 125 that can go offroad
Oh and Fuck off and do your DAS ____________________ KLX 300r |

Id say get an off road bike. Half the 2 strokes I looked at a year or so ago looked like they were about to give up and die. The other half already had. You may see a bit better cornering or even a top speed of 75-80 from a 4 stroke 125 sports if you pin yourself to the tank, go to toilet before hand, and have a good long run up. But thats going to get old fast.
So take a change of scenerey. I see your in the South East, anywhere near Sussex? Plenty of decent lanes, grab an XR or something cheap and hit some muddy tracks. The bike will not be much more fun, but the terrain will be |
