Well, I'm preparing for my A2 licence, and I've always told myself I'd get something sensible. So fast forward to two days ago and I fell in love. On the 5th I pick up a not so sensible FZR400.
I can't wait!!!!!

I have my middle age to be sensible.

Does this mean you will be coming on the BCF jolly to Europe?

Looking likely! I booked the week off work ages ago just incase! Was going to buy a CB500 but saw this and just had to have it, keeping an eye out for a CB as well incase one comes up at the right price, imagine it would be more comfortable on the jolly to Europe.

I can't imagine the FZR doing your arse and wrists any favours on a long trip; but at least you'll have a bit of wind protection. I'm thinking of getting a screen for my CB5 before the trip.

I haven't done a properly long trip on the CB5 yet; but after an hour or so I do need to get off and stretch my legs as it starts feeling a little cramped. This would be so on most though to be honest.

Edit: Any pics of the FZR? Very Happy

I'm hoping to put in a couple of hundred mile run before hand to find out just how bad or otherwise it'll be. May get a double bubble on there if I find the wind on my head too much for prolonged periods.

Screen sounds like a good call, looking at the thread though it seems mostly the riding will be done in short periods so shouldn't be too bad even if it is uncomfortable.

Not yet, but I will work out how to upload them before I pick her up!
