Blue spot callipers (which bikes master cylinder to use)

G'day all,

For the price of a set of stainless steel pistons and new seals for my diversion I can change the entire set up for blue spot callipers. I want to make the change mostly because I am a tart, but the price is decent justification and I guess the blue spots will offer slightly more stopping power too.

From various sources I have learned that while not necessary it is best to change the master cylinder to match the callipers as the original diversion item doesn't mate up very well with the blue spots.

Though I have bar end mirrors fitted I would like to retain the ability to have standard bar mounted mirrors fitted to the bike, for resale purposes as much as anything. So I was wondering which bikes that use blue spot callipers also have bar mounted mirrors?

Any suggestions?

You can buy seperate handlebar mirror mounts inexpensively.

has a plastic plug in the master cylinder covering the mirror thread, don't forget being a yamaha they're left hand threaded

Just bought callipers and a master cylinder from a TDM900, lets hope my hoses mate up nicely!

Only just seen the post about the fazer, could have saved a couple of quid if I knew it was just a plug! Oh well, not to worry.
