Does any know where I can get my aprilia rs125 derestricted in South Yorkshire? preferably in Sheffield. I want it full power so the exhaust would have to be cut in half..it has to be a proper mechanic.

Thanks

For starters a 2 stroke exhaust is designed like it is for a reason, you don't cut it in half, this does not make it full power.

You need a few items to add to the bike, remove a couple of things as well.

However in true BCF fashion I assume you're 17 on a CBT in which case I wont tell you how to do it as I don't want an uninsured knobber on the road.

Or in true BCF fashion but from a different angle, you have a 4 stroke RS125 which has no restriction and cutting the exhaust in half still wont do anything,

I believe some KTM 2 strokes come with a CAT in the expansion chamber! And thus for them, some people would cut them in half, remove said device and weld up again.

No idea about late RS125 2 strokes, presuming it is 2 stroke.

Thought all RS125s were two-stroke? Wasn't it the 125 RS4 that's the four-stroke?

How do you know that he doesn't have insurance? Confused

If he's 17 and on a CBT and derestricted his bike, the insurance would still have to pay out to third parties.

Later RS's did need the cat tearing out of the expansion chamber. Cheapest alternative is after market pipe or old RS125 exhaust.

De-restricted bike = riding not in accordance with license = invalid insurance, but they will settle 3rd party claims and then chase the OP for the costs. Thumbs Up
