Hey my karma is not bad but I think i want out of this place

I havent noticed the buttons for me to rate posts.
I think that only the topic owner should be able to rate posts only he or she can rate if it was helpful surely
They can say its my browser or OS that stops me rating posts but its undemocratic so I want out and all evidence of my existence here removed thanks

but i was going to give you a thumbs up but it asked me to explain my rating and said my rating could be revoked and give me bad karma maybe
It all seems over the top to me and you have too worry that a member will revoke a thumbs up insane

Ah I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you're reasonable then it won't get revoked. None of mine have ever got revoked, even if they've taken the piss a bit sometimes.

It's just basically whether you think its a good or a bad post, and why, like if its helpful, or funny, or you agree, or if its spam/abusive/off topic etc

Karma doesn't give you good or bad luck like smashing mirrors or picking up pennies can. It's not something you should be worrying about.

Do you 'really' care about 'karma'?...just enjoy the forum and forget aboug the brownie point system. I'm not even sure why people bother with it.

If it stops spam postings the fair enough but some people see it as a popularity contest rather than just enjoying the forum.
