Dunno about that stuff but I bought some kevlar jeans which didn't have knee pads in so I bought D30 pads.
I think I'll swap all my armour for this stuff. |

A cheese and red cabbage sandwich (thin sliced white bread, no butter, wrapped in cling film) passes the impact dissipation tests required for CE body armour.*
Try not to crash.

I've used Knox inserts in the past, seemed okay - it really just depends on how well the item fits the pocket you need it for, if its CE approved its going to be generally the same 'standard' I would expect as another CE approved brand.
I do agree not crashing is obviously the first and best policy, but i'm not sure the fact a cheese and cabbage sandwich can pass the tests [as is regualrly quoted on these threads ] makes the armour any less worth wearing, whatever it is thats taking the impact, in at least some cases its going to help you in terms of the outcome of an accident. Not always - sometimes it may do sweet F all, but there are a fair share of accidents that armour will reduce injury.
Even if these products do sell because people are too lazy to make a sandwich to stuff in their gear-pockets [which would be quite smelly after a while ] |
