What you'll want to do is; cancel the order now and get a Ducati 749 instead Smile.

Never liked the scream of a 600 until I heard it described as 'The banshee wail of 600s coming over the pass' (or something to that effect Smile.
Most cans will make it louder at idle, but it's when you're on full throttle that it'll really make the difference.

Basically, lower revving, twins and singles that have bigger pistons make lower sounds, while higher revving 4's with smaller pistons ... make higher sounds Smile.

I have a Scorpion oval jobbie on mine, sounds very nice but not loud enough to get you pulled all the time. I'd recommend you getting the TRE mod aswell, makes the bike much nicer to ride at lower revs.

Go to a few meets and have a listen to cans in the real world - best way to get a handle on what's growly and what's screamy. Thumbs Up

Agreed Bendy.

I only recommend the Scorpion because I have one and the reason for this is my mate has one on his ninja 600 and if memory serves me well the reason he got one was his mate had one!! They sound wicked Very Happy

As for the tre mod check this out https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10534&item=7945193848&rd=1

My ideal 600 engine tone would be as loud as possible, a nice throaty burble, followed by a F1 styled high pitch scream. That would be nice.

What cans are stupidly loud?? I've heard stuff like art and akrapovic and to be honest the're not all that loud.

Why not ask down your local rozzer hut, I imagine they will know which ones are loudest.

Don't think Akrapoivccccccs are that loud. Only heard an R1 with one on.

My Art can felt much louder than stock. Really noticed it the second I swapped them round. Now it doesn't feel out of place at all. Rumbles nicely at idle, sounds nice when going for it.

Never got pulled over with it on, but I don't rev it high with police around. Thumbs Up

I recon the Art can sounds wicked. Haven't heard many other cans though really, or took note of the sounds. I bet they all sound better than stock.

I'd say the Art is somewhere between the quietest race can and loudest. Nice. Thumbs Up

Blue flame, Devil, Scorpion. So many, just pick one and go for it. Price was a major factor for me.
