An Indian auto-blog website has just reviewed the H-D Street 750, and are apparently the first to do so.

https://www.motorbeam.com/bikes/harley-davidson-street/2014-harley-davidson-street-750-first-ride-review/

I am disappointed btw. 4.5lacs rupees for this bike is almost the same as that of the Kawasaki Ninja650R in India. For that price, the quality of the new H-D should have been a lot better.

This is a bike I've been eager about since they first said they'd make a smaller Harley. I wanted this to be good.

Shame it seems it's shit. Also stupidly small the guy on it in that photo looks silly. My Chinese wannabe cruiser has more presence.

Still the Engine didn't get totally panned so we can hope they go on to better things with it.

That review doesn't really surprise me to be honest.

I think the comment made by the author pretty much sums this bike up; your just buying the brand. I'm going to assume that the majority of this bikes buyers would not buy the exact same bike if it had a Yamaha/Honda etc badge on it.

A used 883 could be picked up for around £3000, which I would say is a far better deal if you really had to have a Harley.

I would expect to get at least 3 brand new harley driveables for 3k. A pile of crap is a pile of crap no matter how much you tart it up.

Weird , I could swear I saw one parked up outside work a couple days ago, but they're not available in the UK. Confused
I may have been looking at something entirely different, however my first thought was along the lines of "Oh, it's one of them". It was a plain black one and didn't look too bad, but equally it didn't really grab me.

It doesnt look much bigger than Honda's re-released monkey bike, the MSX125.

It does actually. Laughing

Still looks like a bike I built out of spare parts I had lying about though. Neutral

According to Mumbai price, it's a HD under £5k.

Entry level Harley ownership.

Yeah but for that you could have a number of new and used bikes that aren't made of cheese and fail. MT-07 comes to mind amongst other things.
