Apologies if this isn't in the right section, A good friend of mines 2005 KTM 250 was stolen last night from Beaumont road, Plymouth. woke up this morning and they had cropped the lock on the garage and walked off with it.

if you guys could keep your eyes out it would be great. police have been called but we know what use they are in these situations Sad

There was a guy I took my bike to for a service once, his name was Chris, he has a small place on the embankment in the little industrial estate at the end. He told me he'd had guys bring him stolen bikes before, offering them to him for parts or something. Maybe go ask him to look out for it...in any case I'll keep my eyes open but I doubt it's still in the Plymouth/South Hams region Sad

Very unfortunate, sorry about that. Probably most crooks would chopped it to pieces so look/ask on parts resale shops or something.

Damn shame my friend - I think I saw you on it the other day as I remember the Akro exhaust. Put on facebook, share the pants off it and your friends should do the same.

I beg to disagree with that. The owner, Dave has always been friendly and most helpful when I've phoned or dropped in. He does have some very iffy types working/hanging round there though

There's that guy who just sort of hangs around, and "relays" parts requests to dave.

"Daaaaaaaveeeee, daaaaaaaaaaaave? We got any front calipers for 97 gixxer daaaaave??"

I got to use the tyre machine there once, I made me feel cool.

apart from everytime i call, if the phone gets answered, and they have the part, maybe, and i go down after the couple of hours he needs to get the part out, its still burried under a pile of shit.

i normally take tool if i have to go there for stuff so i can remove the part myself.

the place needs sorting out, some organization would help things along, but that would make the stolen stuff stand out. Please don't tell me that he doesn't deal with stuff, everyone knows he does
