Evening,

Just a heads up for anyone who has any variation of the cbr500 (F,R,X) and hasn't received a letter. Received mine letter today for my cbr500r and have booked it in with the dealer.

Quote:
It has been identified that under certain conditions the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt could loosen or be lost due to the bolts coating substance being out of specification. This may result in engine oil leaking, rocker arm shaft displacement, and so possible engine stall whilst riding.

Cheers

I put a note on both the CBR500Rs that park near to me telling them to check the recall, since they have Victor Devine plates on them. Whistle

You hero.

They say you shouldn't ride with a cape on, but how else will the huddled masses know that I'm watching over them?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
