FYI this is not very fun when you are stoned.
Once in my teens, I called my dad to come and pick me up from a mates party, still quite stoned and already paranoid because my dad was picking me up whilst stoned and he decided to flick the lights off down an unlit country road.
Cue me shitting my pants metaphorically and very nearly literally.
To this day he hasn't admitted to my face that he knew I was stoned but told my mum that he thought I was.
Funnily enough, never touched drugs again after that evening. ____________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OPv5mDPQ14

I've been caught out a couple of times with no lights and can confirm it's no joke.......not too bad if there are street lights but in the sticks, it's petrifying
As a temp safety measure, it's not too hard to remove both front indicator lenses and wire them to stay on permanently. It won't light the road but it'll let other people know you're there. ____________________ Space Is Deep |

Hmmm, in my saxo, when normal dipped headlights are on and you go to put full beam on, both the normal lights AND full beam go on and then as soon as you ease the lever back for full beam the normal headlights go off.
Sometimes if it's a really dark lane I'll just hold main beam on that way I get both lights, I often wondered why this is.
And yes, it's a fucking french tin can turd! ____________________ 07' Honda Hornet now full powaah! My guide on performing an oil change! |

Similar moment last Wednesday evening for me !
Left the weekly cafe meet up and headed home down some barely lit back roads when suddenly . . no lights. No dip and no main beam !
I crapped my pants if I'm honest. I just thank fk the flash switch was still working.
Rode the whole way back, including the M25 and A2 switching between no lights and full on. Think I dazzled a few drivers and suprised a few more by 'appearing' in their rear view. Lol.
Got home in one piece, no furries died so all good. Turned out to be crap in the main loom connector block to the nose cone.
Don't EVER want a repeat of that. ____________________ You only get one lap of lifes track . . . . so make it a fast one !
