 |
|
So I been looking around for aftermarket exhaust for my fazer because the stock one is kinda too quite for my liking... but I can not find anything under 400 quid! The cheapest I found was £350 for SP engineering can Does anybody know where i could get one for under 300 quid or no chance? Is it because they have dual exhaust so the price is automatically doubled? My mate got a flame can for hornet for 140... the price difference is huge |

You are paying for 2 cans and a link pipe so it is going to be more expensive than a single slip on can.
I got the Scorpions for mine for about £320 from Bykebitz but that was a clearance, and I don't think they stock them any more.
As said, check ebay because second hand pipes do come up now and again.
If you want to chop a standard box there are some pics here:

New cans are something on the FZ6 that's worth doing even though it's expensive.
Changes the look of the bike, adds a few bhp, and sounds so much better. start saving your pennies.

They sound a bit like an F1 car. There isn't really much silencing. I think Red Devils on here got tested at 108db with the baffles in.
Deffo a worthwhile MOD. Mine had the cans on when I bought it but they are stupidly expensive from what I've seen.
Second hand ones aren't much cheaper to be honest. Just seen a set of scorpions go for like £320 second hand.
IMO the best sounding cans for the FZ6 are the leo vince cans. ____________________ CBT Passed: 30/08/2009, Theory Passed: 31/08/2010, Mod 1 Passed: 6/9/2010, Mod 2 Passed: 13/09/2010. Restriction ended 13/09/2012.
