Hi all,

Basically I've got a small rubber bush thing that I need help identifying as unfortunately I have misplaced the other one. I got it off of my CG from one of the mounting points for the rear carrier, the mounting plate for the carrier meets up with this bush and a bolt is threaded through into a hole in the frame. The outside of the the bush locates into a matching cutout in the rear cowling and probably acts a vibration dampener.

My bike is a BR-J model from 1991 and there are no microfiches available to identify parts, not even my local Honda has any, 1995 is the earliest I can find.

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

I would describe it as a sleeved mounting bush or rubber.

David Silver list parts for your specific model, give them a call.

I think it's a combination of two parts.

Looking elsewhere on other models (because the Japanese would not make that part just for that specific bike and application. It came out of a parts bin, count on it).

I think you need:
Rubber,fr-fend.mt. Part number: 61103357000

and

Collar,setting. Part Number: 61104422000

The fact that your honda dealer was unable to help you find this out but a random person somewhere on the internet who is not a honda dealer and parts distributer speaks volumes about the motorcycle industry.

I bet they still use that part on a current model.

Don't believe it is that one you've linked to Stink. The bolt that the fiche says goes though it is an M6 and the hole on the frame to which this bush of mine lines up to is an M8.

Have you called DS, they are pretty much the experts on old Honda parts.

I would call it a sleeved rubber grommet.
