Hi all

I thought I would announce myself to the motor biking community having just passed passed my mod 1 for the A license and hopefully booking mod 2 for May.

I am 28 and going down the direct access route and I am really enjoying every time I jump on a bike to learn. I don't own a bike so just learning through local instructor.

I am 6 foot 4 and hoping to get a Kawasaki versys when I pass my full test (hopefully on the first attempt)

You sound like me, except the age and the Versys part. Congraulations on the mod 1.

You sound like me too.

Apart from the age, Versys thing, learning to ride malarkey, and most of what you wrote... Wink

But hey, welcome anyway Thumbs Up

We could be twins, except for the age, Versys thing, learning to ride malarkey, chosen licensing route, and height.

Mod1 is the daft part, Mod 2 is just a nice ride out. You'll smash it in.

Why such a long wait to do it though?

Short, fat and ugly, Roger? I wondered why the weirdo that read my palm said my split lifeline indicated a twin. Laughing

Welcome aboard from an old fart

If you wanted to take the test sooner, you could always check to see if there's any cancellations.

Cocking instructors block booking all the slots. Mad

Shop around, find someone who's block booked earlier slots?
