suzuki sv650s 2008 engine problem

hi there,
i have recently noticed a quite loud irregular noise coming from the engine, its quite prominent until i have reached 4/5000 revs then quietens off.
any ideas as what could be wrong as i need the bike to stay on the road as long as possible
also it has a 33bhp kit fitted for 2 years now(doubt this is affecting it but maybe relevant)

my guess would be cct failing most likely on front cylinder.

fairly common on these and the firestorms.
