hi
i recently brought an rxs 100 but the only electrics that work on it are the front and back light iv checked the wiring and it all seems to be ok and iv replaced the fuse but i cant seem to get my brake light,indicators or clock lights to work any help would be much appreciated

Hi check your battery and charging system as this supplies the indicators,brake light,horn.
The main headlight runs off the engine.
Have you checked the bulbs?

i have tried literally everything i know the bulbs work cause iv tested them on another bike and the battery i have even rewired the bike but still i have no luck :/

yeah i tested them on my mates rxs im not sure whats wrong with it but i have found a donor bike so im taking the whole wiring system off that hopefully that rectifies the problem lol

I'd be tempted to just re-wire with new cable and connectors if that was the case....

Any RXS harness now is going to be getting old and corroded, just down to the age of the bikes. The wiring harness is about as simple as you can get, and wouldn't be to bad to remake. If I was planning on keeping the bike, I'd probs convert it to 12V but thats another story...

the 12v conversion sounds like a good idea but i want to get the electrics working on the bike first lol if the wiring harness off this other bike isnt any good i think i'll just get a kit to rewire the whole thing with new wire and connectors hopefully then it works lol
