How brave to ride a bike through some of the towns & villages. We were there in September/October 2013 (and are going again this year), there did not appear to be any rules when using a vehicle, apart from; he who has the loudest horn wins Laughing
We have not considered travelling anywhere in Sri Lanka unless on a bus, train or tuk-tuk.

Loved Sri Lanka but the driving is another matter.

The best I could work it out was that you fended off the potential overtaking vehicle for as long as you could but once they were alongside you had to yield. However, once they had overtaken they were fair game to be passed back.

..... and just how did that same bl**dy dog keep managing to get ahead all the time.

A truly frightening experience. Smile
