Well did a search and i cant find any other posts, im wondering do the indicators front and back Have to be orange? i understand it would be silly putting white ones on but what about red ones ?
dont tourch me if its been mentioned in a previose post.

Basically yes it would be illegal. It is an MOT failure if your indicator is showing a colour other than amber. Have a read of this page, about a third of the way down is a section called "REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE FITTING OF LAMPS, REFLECTORS, REAR MARKINGS AND DEVICES" which details all the laws for lights on vehicles.

Unless it is a VERY old bike, flashers have to be orange.

If it was made before a date (can't remember exactly) in the early 1960s they are allowed to be white or red.

If it was made before 1986 or is designed for use off the road, it doesn't need indicators at all.

i may be wrong but dont american cars imported to the uk still use red indicators i think one of my old cameros had red inddys built in to the light cluster

It will fail an MOT if indicators are fitted but not working. If you take them all off it will pass.
