I think It's fake tbh. Seems too crunchy. You can get them ones from aus that are fried and crispy. Just because it was alive before they could have just paused the vid inserted the fake one and be done lol

Quite impressive to me. Ate it like a boss and was hardly cruel. Some spiders kill creatures in much worse ways in the wild.

Here's an article about him.

Final two paragraphs sum it up quite well:

Quote:
For all that, I found Cole personable, considered and humane. His videos are a stark and shocking reminder that all of our food choices are based on culture and prejudice. And it seems objectively less cruel to kill a scorpion instantly than to rear chickens in battery cages or pigs in the most miserable pork farms.

"I guess I enjoy riling people up a bit," says Cole, "and challenging them to the reality that to eat meat, they have to kill an animal. If they're genuinely vegetarian then they have more of a valid point, but one girl once did this long rant to me about how evil it all was, and then said I should just have gone to McDonald's."

As one of the commenters on the story said,

"I believe that Mr Cole is the sort of person who is known to the medical profession as "a f*cking nutjob".

Couldn't have put it better.......

Err, spiders don't kill creatures in the wild to get hits on YouTube. They do it to fucking survive!

How many times have you bought a burger from mcdonalds when you weren't actually hungry? Well a cow died for that, and it wasn't for the sake of your survival.
