Almost looks like a crossover between a modern sports bike and a 60s bike -- or is it just a weird angle?

No, doesn't seem so. Here is Yamaha FZX750: https://i488.photobucket.com/albums/rr249/rockhard_photos/stuff026.jpg. The Y's cylinders line are at wider angle to exhaust pipes, plus this Yamaha's characteristic horizontal "V" mark is absent.

Thunderbird? It may be it (exhaust, cylinders and rear lights are very similar), but the fuel tank, as well as front light are slightly off. Not sure.

Do you happen to have any other versions?

Further research shows it to be a Legend TT, basically a stripped down Thunderbird with a different tank and satin black engine.
