yeah I know, not exactly hard to find a pair of gloves, buuuuuut...

my last pair were Joe Rockets, which I got when I was 16, they have only just worn out, so lasted a good 7 yrs. what I liked was that they had no stiff carbon knuckles, something I despise. thing is I cant find any of this type in he local bike shops, apart from some that seem to be made of a sort of mesh?? and part leather. no thanks.

anyone know of a set like this? cost not realllly an issue; my old man is buying them as thanks for me freezing my arse off every morning the last month he's been using my car Mr. Green

ta Thumbs Up

Joe rocket make more than one sort of glove.

A brief description, or better, a picture of the glove in question would assist greatly.

I'm sure there are plenty of gloves like that around, just have to pop down to a few stores and see what they got.

Just don't buy any RST gloves... they're terrible for the stitching to go.

I'm very happy with my Alpinestars and Hein Gericke ones and would buy another pair of either (if HG were anywhere nearby, which they aren't anymore)

Why don't you want hard knuckle gloves? Any particular reason?

I'd just keep trying on loads of different gloves, and the same gloves in different sizes, until you find one that fits well and feels comfortable. Most good dealers will have a dedicated clothing department worker or manager, if they're worth their job they'll know their stuff so could perhaps recommend you a glove that isn't in stock but could be ordered in.

Best gloves I've got are my Rocha Cold Protect gtx gloves. Really comfortable with a flat rubber knuckle section. Good for cold weather, not absolutely freezing though unless I use heated grips.
