The frame/VIN is different to the engine number.
The engine number isn't checked as part of the MOT, I see no reason for them to notice that the engine has been changed assuming it's been done properly and isn't held in place by cable ties.  |

Never checked my engine numbers nor frame numbers, my DT doesn't even have the frame numbers present due to a respray and sandblasting...
Engine numbers are present, but can't see them over dirt.
Only thing my MOT inspector checks is tyres, suspension and lights.
Mine is a 125CC topend but been bored out to something like a 130CC due to rebuilds.
I put mine through the MOT with black tape over the indicator switch and over the mileage and still passed.  |
