Hi guys,

I passed my test a couple of years ago. My first bike was a 1999 Speed Triple 955i, which I have really enjoyed. I am getting older now and have back and neck problems (never been an issue with the Triple) I am now looking for a change and not really sure where to look.

I would love a GSX-R750 but a bit concerned about comfort on longer rides. I have been looking at the GSR 750, they seem so cheap at the moment, I like the look but do not want to be underwhelmed by performance. There seems to be a lot of nearly new GSR's out there and I wonder why they are sold so quickly. Also insurance is so cheap on these.

Does anyone have any experience of these?

I have a gsxr 600, im 21 and it does my back in and is horribly painful on my wrists after around an hour to hour and a half. If you already have issues I would avoid supersports all together

Gsxr is for sale thiugh if your adement Laughing

Thats why I was thinking GSR. It has the 2005 GSX-R 750 engine and I more upright riding position. Need to be able to ride for 3 or 4 hours at times.

My mate has a 13 plate gsr 750 and loves it, like you say slightly more upright and it seems like the bikes down geared a bit so does need to be revved like nuts all the time, I could be wrong but it certainly seems that way

Looked at cbr 600 f models ? A lot more friendly riding positions than all out sports
