The list of bikes you can use on your A license tests: https://www.dft.gov.uk/motorcycle-test-vehicle-list/
Edit: You can use an F650GS, but it can't be restricted to 47bhp. A motorcycle used for an A test must produce at least 40kw/53bhp. (I'm assuming your F650GS is restricted as I believe they produce around the 70bhp mark as standard).

F650GS covers two bikes.
1) The old single which made over 35 but under 40kW and so is not suitable for any test (unless restricted down to 35kw for A2).
2) The new 800cc twin, which makes over 40kW and is ridden by totally awesome stud muffins and is incidentally fine for A. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Count the cylinders.
1 cylinder = not suitable for A tests.
2 cylinders = suitable for A tests. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
