Hi all,

Was mounting a rear tire and had a friend helping me out. Couldn't get the tire more than about 75% on the rim, and I think we were pretty much fighting each other the entire way as I don't remember the process ever being this difficult. The bead of the tire got damaged/ scuffed in a few areas and I was wondering if this was even worth putting on the rim.

I tried again yesterday (solo) and was able to get it to about the same point... I think with a few c-clamps I might be able to get it on but really don't want to be dealing with a slow leak.

Any thoughts?

What size is it/I'd still use it as it looks to be on a ghetto 125.

I would use it. If you can get 75% on the wheel then you might as well clamp the rest on & see if it stays airtight.
