ive had my bike standing for a while, wouldnt start so i charged the batt, was fine

then i dropped it and seems like its knackered again for no reason?

would the fall mess about wit the battery acid levels or what not or is it new battery time

Seriously doubt you'd need a new battery again, did you leave the bike on its side for any long period of time? If so, some of the battery acid may have leaked out or ruined some part of it.

I take it you have topped it up, yes?

i only tried to start it today cos i thouhgt it mite need time to settle
