new bike, previous owner hasn't clocked many miles

another thread to add to the one I have just posted. I have just bought my first bike, a cbr 600f. the guy I bought it off was a very nice hap, but from the MOT certificates he gave me some years they state he has done only 300 miles for the whole year. he has had the bike 9 years a it has 21k on the clock. he said it has just been in storage as he has had other bikes as well. bike is brilliant, rides like a dream. was just wondering if this seems strange to anyone?

nope, lots of bikes are owned and rarely used.

Bought my sprint on new years eve of 2011 so I've had it over 2 years - done less than 4k

Previous owner of my bike did 500 miles on it, check if the chain etc. needs lubing if the bikes been sat.

My bike didn't even manage 300 miles last year as it spent most of the summer and autumn sat in the garage while I had surgery on my back. In fact, I did more miles last weekend than the whole of last year. It's not that unusual, I guess.
