While cars can be hired for as cheap as £30 a day, bikes are closer to £100 for some odd reason, so I don't imagine many bother, as usually cheaper to just ride there on your own bike.

Do share any info you find out though

If you are in the algarve, Vesparent in albufiera I found to be ok, wide selection of bikes and pretty easy going.
I lost the supplied lock somewhere in the hills while offroading a xt600? I offered to replace it and they said not to worry.

In the old town there is a small place that has some older bikes at less money but tbh, i wouldn't want to be chancing doing hundreds of miles a day on one of theirs. They are older and seem to be a bit on the chancer side of things.

I've never had any problems out on the road but once i went to collect a bike and they took another battery out of the next bike to put into it, not a confidence filler.

Karma cheers all

we are going away with another couple, so might be a nice way to escape for the day into the mountains etc

will have a look around cheers

it does seem pretty pricey, got quoted 80 euros per days for GSX but with a 1000 euro deposit Shocked

i think i would prefer a enduro or something though
