I think he should take a serious look at his riding career after this. He's been unfortunate enough to have some pretty brutal crashes in a small amount of time. Time to hang up the leathers IMO.

Yep I agree. You can't deny that he is fast and really brave, but he always seems to just push it over the edge. His poor family must be in bits every time he races.

There is a speed trap very close to where that accident happened just at the start of the braking zone, I was speaking to the guys that operate the equipment after the first race yesterday morning, they told me the faster bikes were hitting 170 mph at that point of the circuit before braking for the metropole corner. Hoping Simon has a speedy recovery.
