I rode a 92 plate one, can't be too different.

Was fairly comfortable for a sports bike, felt a little heavier than my 750 (Y model) and not as willing to go fast and still handle and respond as you wanted but all in all wouldn't say no to one. Likely it is a little tired and worn out by now though, so bearings and bushes all round would be a good step IMO

Linkage for suspension might be worn, sure there are bearings in there, rebuilding the shock is a good idea, later on perhaps the front end.

I personally had no real issues with it, it rode well enough, I'm a fairly crap rider though so unsure if someone who has pushed one quite hard will reply.. Thumbs Up

anyone else? anything I should be aware of? I'm getting it for what I consider to be a really good price and I've asked the usual:
V5
Engine/frame numbers match
No pitting or leaks on forks
No oil leaks
Suspension still functioning
Fairly new front and rear
No misfiring etc
No exhaust blows
No cracks/holes/bodgejobs in the bodywork
HPI check came out fine

Ill be giving it a thorough checking over tomorrow but I don't have as much experience as some.
