Racing in the Blackford Pre TT Classic Races continues today on the Billown Circuit. There is a full day's racing starting at 0930 with the Lightweight Race.

Full commentary on all races / practices on Manx Radio TT 1368AM or online at:

For such a large event, why is there only an hours highlights each evening? I understand the nature of the event may not lend itself to live coverage that well but an hours highlights after we all know the results seems a bit skinny. (or do the results not come in for ages after? I have to admit being new to this!)

It's just not a popular sport, really. Viewing numbers aren't that high so they won't dedicate more time to it.

Think of the area you have to cover. And being a time trial, the 'battle' isn't necessarily happening all in one clump. It would be prohibitively expensive to try and film all of it, and a logistical nightmare to try and put together a full race edit within a few hours.

I think the highlights we get is ample coverage for a very niche event, especially as you can follow it live on the internet via the radio feed, live timing and very efficient posting of photos online. You can enjoy the race 'as intended' and then watch the nicely-packaged highlights later on. Thumbs Up

Do you have to pay subscription to get the F1/MotoGP? Or does it use free less-than-legal streaming apps?
