FINALLY!

After promising myself a trip for the TT for years, I've finally managed to extract the digit from my anus and get it sorted.

367 days to go Smile

If you find somewhere that's accepting bookings then let me know, every site I've tried isn't listing 2015 yet.

Just in case anyone hasn't got this done already -

Campsites are now bookable for next years TT.

TT camping is already full for the middle Saturday.

Rugby club still has space.

Our campsite and ferry are booked, hoping I can get a later return crossing in Feb when they start asking for payment as we go back the day before the senior race.

How much was the ferry this year for anyone going by car?

Have they changed the dates of this year?

It's usually the last week of May (practice week) and the first week of June (race week).

Dates change each year. The way to work out the dates for the TT in any year is to remember that Mad Sunday (the Sunday between practice week and race week) is ALWAYS the first Sunday in June.

I'm watching Guy Martin's show at the moment and it's reminded me that Michael Dunlop has left BMW and Martin is favourite to take his place. It could be a very interesting year to be a spectator.

All booked! 1st to 16th June.

Steampacket paid for and we've booked camping at Glenlough campsite at Union Mills. Still spaces available. Not far from Douglas.

It's going to be good, can't wait!

28th of Feb is the date to be in front of your computer if you still need ferry tickets.

The non paid up deposits will be back on sale then. Thumbs Up

^^^And you'll have the pleasure of getting gassed out by nobs who warm up their engines before the boat is made ready for disembarking. Clapping

Oh, and watch out for the rope. Seriously, It's laid down to reduce the step onto boat. If you're queuing to board make sure you have enough room to ride over it squarely. 2up fully laden and back end sliding may look good but it sure made me sweat.

I'll go again, but not this year.

I used to be a regular but I haven't been since 1987!
Despite living on Merseyside, at the time, I've only used the Liverpool ferry once.
What's the situation with tying bikes down on the ferry, (no centre stand on my bike)?
No luggage or passenger to contend with, on the ferry, that's all going in the Subaru barge.

Sidestand is preferred but they do have an area for awkward bikes. They'll tie the bike up for you and the Mannanan crew on our crossings were good.
I'm excited for you. Smile
