German guys find huge abandoned bunker in forest

Thousands of these were supposedly built during World War Two, mostly in the Berlin area with various uses such as being used as an air raid shelter, intelligence centers, secret ops, experiments, holding ammunition, troops, valuables such as paintings, or if large enough vehicles. They were even used to protect high ranking names.

If anyone ever goes over Route de Rastefond/Col De La Bonette - 3rd highest road in Europe, there's a huge abandoned military bunker built into the side of the mountain from WW2. Big vault door someone's pried open, me and my brother spent a couple of hours exploring hundreds of metres of tunnels, rooms, artillery equipment, machine gun cloisters etc. etc.

In typical French fashion, it stunk of piss and shit inside. This was at about 2700 metres above sea level, very cold and dry air so I guess thats why a lot of the plumbing ant metalwork in there looked like it was fitted last week. Mad that it's just sat there, rotting away and tehy do nothing with it.

They didn't really 'find' it. It wasn't exactly lost, as evidenced by all the grafitti, etc. I'd have like to have seen more though.
