Hi

I need a fuel tap for the tank on my Honda H100A however I'm a little confused on thread pitch size? i wonder if someone can help me

I have already brought a universal size M14 with a 1.25mm thread pitch but this did not want to screw on (it would bite but it wouldn't go on very far at all)

Next I'm thinking of buying an M14 universal fuel tap that has a 1.0mm thread pitch

Anyone have any info?

Thanks!

Instead of continuing to purchase different sizes of petrol taps in the hope that you will eventually get lucky, why don't you buy one of these?

It will be a fine pitch thread...if you don't have a thread gauge as above you can try a std m6 bolt from your machine to the same effect...ie m6 casing bolt will be a1mm pitch so you can compare that way! A quick google will give you the pitch sizes. A std m14 would be 2.0mm pitch
