Are these things a one off or does someone actually mass produced these?

Never seen anything like them on the road before and they look like a lot of fun.

Any ideas?

I have no clue... but why do I get a feeling that your next post is going to be a 'my new ride' thread showing you and a road legal version of the aforementioned TT sidecar Laughing Laughing

They are built by privateers. I have done a lap as a passenger, it was terrifying and we did a very slow 25 mins.

My bike mechanic builds and races his own sidecar outfit.

My MOT tester thinks they're a lot of fun, even though he can't ride them anymore, after this happened.........

I've seen a couple at big bike meets, usually like the track bikes with daytime MOT

Probably quite fun on the right roads!

my Uncle used to race one at club level. I think he bought the chassis but he did all his engine work himself, and used to test it on what he called a 'private road'.

There are a few specialist racing sidecar chassis builders, Lois Christian of LCR, Dave Molyneux, Windle. They are built to order and are not cheap but they are works of art.
