So they all stop blocking a lane of a country road to all mouth off at a wanker. Just tell him to fuck off and ride away...

I'm guessing the car driver stopped first, but still.

I tried watching, I really did...
...but took so long to get to the point.

It was like watching one of Tef's posts. Maybe some good stuff but a lot of other stuff to work through to get to the point so it sometimes gets lost/forgotten.

Perhaps vlogging is good for the vlogger. For me it's just watching a stranger's home movie. I have no connection or empathy with the participants. I think in summary you really had to be there.

That said I feel now I must get a camera fitted to the bike, for the just in case I need video evidence. On that basis, using Sod's Law if I have it, I won't need it.

Well he says they all slow to let him past while they slow for a rider to catch up, they're all to the left. Then the POV we're at rides up and stops in the middle of the lane, asking to get smacked by something or cause disruption to other road users. Then if this guy walked up to them to "have a word" there's so many of them, nobody needs to get off their bikes to show how hard they are, they should just laugh and tell him to be on his way as impolitely as they like and carry on.

They were a 'group' hugh?

Did you know; If you organise a 'convoy' of more than I think it's six vehicles; then you are obliged by law to notify the local constabulary, of any durastiction your convoy passes through, with a route itinerary, same as a 'special load' on an HGV, and gain permission, in writing from them, before the event takes place.

Little known bit of road law that.

Lifes to short, to many idiots on the road, just ignore them. If I stopped and gave abuse every time someone did something silly on the road I'd never get anywhere and always be angry. I just shake my head and move on, no ones perfect, we all make mistakes.

The guy at the end was spot on 'just fuckin let him go'. No need to start giving it biggun blocking his door. The cyclist vlogs are even worse.

From another forum
Quote:
In UK it's Motor Vehicles (Competition and Trials) Regs 1969. Under this anyone organising an event on the road needs to be authorised.

But there are blanket exepmtions, one of which is events with less than 12 cars as mentioned above. Another is "events in which no merit is attached to completing the event with the lowest mileage and in which, as respects such parts of the event as is held on a public highway, there are no performance tests and no route and competitors are not timed or required to visit the same places, except that they may be required to finish at the same place by a specified time".

None of them had the minerals to remove their helmets though did they?

I'm actually embarrassed to be seen on two wheels with these dickheads flying the banner for motorcyclists.

EDIT:

One thing that really grinds my shit is the high and mightyness of them all. "Can you believe that person did do XYZ!!! ZOMG!!!" all the while carefully editing out the footage of their infractions. Let he without sin and all that, eh folks.

He posts a lot of his dribble on various Facebook groups where most members seem to be so far up his chuff it's unreal. I've always hated vlogging but this latest breed of "I'm perfect, look at all these knob heads I've managed to film" really split my wick.

Didn't look.

I choose not to validate vlogging behaviour by clicking their youtube links and providing them with the views/attention they crave.

If nobody looked at them, they'd stop making them.

I'm pretty certain he's the last straw for me. I found my fingers hovering over the keys about to leave a ranty comment on the video. I suddenly realised what I was about to become, pushed the keyboard away from me, took a deep breath and let out a "Whoa" of astonishment at what I almost did. Well, no more. I shan't be looking at any of these self righteous, self indulgent and self important pricks any more. I shall simply not bother following the links to their videos. After all, if you don't watch their video, they have no power.

I cant take Scottish people seriously.

That was a case of assuming authority due to numbers. If they were solo they would have run away crying. An embarrassing ploy for attention.

Same response to you as to them, and it's what they should have done too: laugh it off. You rage, you ruse.

Well made point earlier when carvel said if solo would have run off. The numpty giving it large to the 4x4 driver didn't stop but accelerated away. Love how he gave it mouth to the guy in the Clio when his mates are with him
