Bring the rage!

Some bikes look great without mudguards. Good for posing.

Not so much for going off road. Laughing

Will give it a miss, another retired famous person that will be on our screens for years to come.

Life in the amazon rain forest? He wants to get a fucking grip. An influential character respected by millions of kids around the globe for his achievements in football and he goes for a wander through the rainforest?

It'd be better if he tackled issues like the stoning of the woman in Pakistan by her own father and family because she married against their wishes or the billions of aid the uk sends around the world to help these types of barbaric countries to maintain their traditions and in some parts ram them down our throats!

Fuck that, the bbc need to close and cease trading.

Did anyone hear the rank gush that cunt Cameron came out with for dear Becks? I thought, for a second, I was hallucinating it. On national fucking TV. The twat couldn't have made a bigger cunt of himself if he'd done it deliberately. Talking about a fellow cunt.

Meh. When Ewan and Charley rode at least they did it properly, planned it and put a whole team together. I think this will be the "lite" version, a condensed thing where the trip is shorter and less interesting, but we'll see. Can't imagine Beckham being as entertaining as the other two, he tends to be dull as dishwater unless he's on the pitch.

I quiet agree. If the moonchild clotheshorse had any taste he would do the trip on a C90 instead.

He is shockingly inarticulate. I appreciate that a great many prominent English footballers are singularly incapable of stringing a sentence together without resorting to rank clichés or repeating themselves, but Beckham takes it to a whole other level. It is no exaggeration to say that the average twelve year old child is capable of providing a more lucid and understandable account of themselves. Regardless, this will make for dismal viewing.

Oh, super, I get to be contrarian.

While I'd rather fold myself in half and nail my testicles to my eyeballs than watch this dross, I'm glad that it's being shown.

Because:

Most people are drivers.
Most people are thick.
Many drivers are thickies.
Most thickies like Beckham, and by extension what Beckham likes.

In my head, it'll go like this:

Cor, stone the bleedin' crows, its one of them biking-like-Beckham blokes on Her Majesty's 'Ighways, I'll let 'im froo and give 'im a cheery wave, gor bless you Marm.

I love reading Beckham threads - they always go like this... Smile

I'll write what I always do - Beckham may not be the sharpest chisel in the toolbox and you may think he is/was over-paid (like all footballers) BUT

- he rarely acted like a twat on the pitch
- he was without doubt, a bloody good player
- he's stayed married for an eternity (by celebrity standards)
- he's someone you'd be happy for your kids to emulate
- he is a good advert for the UK.

I'm afraid all negative comments are simply jealousy - not one of us has the physical skill and good looks that have got him where he is and he's managed to stay a 'nice guy' while doing it.

Not watched the program yet but looking forward to it...

That may be true, but I hear he's cursed with inconveniently large genitals. Hand
