Return it through the dealer you got it from and they can return it to the supplier to have a new popper put on.

The dealer can also request to have a new popper sent to him to possibly fit himself. Not sure if you need a press tool to do it securely though.

Cheers guys, Ive mailed HJC on facebook so will see if they reply or not. If not I'll call the dealer and ask them to request the bit. Apparently they are from Oxford in the UK so will contact them as well if no joy.

You could try taking it along to a shop/place that sells dress making gear or does clothes alterations, as they would probably have the stud you need and the tool to fit it. I doubt they'd charge you much, if anything for fitting it for you.

Most haberdashery or craft shops will have replacements you can use, I've repaired denim jeans and other items with buttons.

Do all press fasteners have the same attachment couplings?

Pop down to your nearest Timpsons. They keep metal press studs in stock and will press one in for you for a couple of quid.
