Thanks

Rear wheel spindle won't work unless it has an M27x1.0 reverse pitch thread on it. I'm fairly confident it does not.

Try Honda part number: 079330010000

From David Silvers by post or from any high street Honda dealer if you can manage to persuade them to order you something from a part number instead of argue with you about wether you want it. Should come in at £10 -15 before they also add in sucking of teeth and unhelpful and ill-informed comments on their assumeption about the price of one.

It is the actual tool for the job and well worth a tenner.

Many thanks stinkwheel, I've ordered one from my local dealer, was very helpful! Should take 1/2 days to get in.

I've also ordered a woodruff key as the rotor has not been installed correctly ie timing marks wrong, when turned to TDC it's NOT TDC! some 40/45 degrees out!

Either some wally has fitted the rotor without the woodruff key or it's been torn out. Hopefully, the former, will find out very soon.

Thanks again

Unfortunately, the puller suggested by stinkwheel is not the one for my bike.

Found out that the Honda puller is 07933-KG2-000 (previously 07933-4300000). Dealer estimated delivery August! Searched the web and found a post on another forum by Dave Wilkins cross referencing that part number with pattern part H-Level 793628.

He's fairly close to me and he had the H-Level one in stock, so popped over and picked it up. Cost £17 and now the rotor is off at last.

For information the puller has a 28 x 1.0 internal rh thread.
